Merry Christmas everyone!

Know its not xmas yet, but with it being around the corner, I thought I would do a blog post today before I get distracted and forget to post.




So, some well needed update for you my insect nerds.

I have new additions to my bug family. I recently purchased a gorgeous pair of stag beetles. These beetles are from the Hainan islands, China.


I am unsure of what to name them yet, but they are one of cutest species of stag beetles I have ever kept. The Rainbow Stags( Phalacrognathus muelleri) is still at the very top of my list of favourites. I have no clue what to name them, maybe you can suggest some names maybe? Well, photos are below. I may put a poll for options of names for you.
